Solène Festor de Suremain

Solène Festor de Suremain is an Junior Associate, and member of the Commercial law and Intellectual & IT law departments, at Pierstone Brussels. She is fluent in French and English and has a passive knowledge of Dutch.
Solène was admitted to the Bruxelles’s bar in octobre 2023.

Expertise:

During her studies and professional experiences, Solène gained experience in Intellectual Property law, Data law, Competition law, and corporate law. She developed a particular interest in copyright, trademark, patents, and data protection. Solène wrote her master’s thesis on Standard Essential Patents and graduated with a cum laude distinction in 2022.

Professional experience:

Solène worked as a trainee at a French law and public affairs firm in 2021 before joining the European Parliament’s Research Services as a Schuman trainee on the same year. Prior to this, she worked as a pro bono legal researcher at the Amsterdam Center for European Law and Governance.

Solène joined Pierstone in June 2022.

Education:

Solène holds an LL.M in European Competition law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam and an advanced LL.M in Intellectual Property and Information and Communication Technology laws from the KU Leuven University.

She also completed a master’s degree in corporate and social law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2023.
