Yves Delaey is a member of the Brussels Bar Association since 1999 and a Partner, member of the Commercial & Corporate law department, at Pierstone Brussels.
Yves is fluent in Dutch, English and French and conversant in German.

Yves is a Belgian qualified lawyer with over 20 years of experience in cross-border corporate
finance and corporate M&A transactions. He has advised a wide range of clients including investment banks, sovereign wealth funds, international organisations, family offices, UHNWIs, private investors and non-profit organisations. He has worked in several jurisdictions including the EU, the Balkans, the Middle East, South America, North America and Africa.

Professional Experience:
Yves started his career with Linklaters, a magic circle firm, in 1999, where he worked in corporate and corporate finance in Brussels, London and Luxembourg. After a brief stint with the United Nations in Kosovo in 2005, he moved to the Middle East in 2006. In the Middle East, he worked for the international law firm Clyde & Co in Abu Dhabi, the private office of a prominent Saudi family and for a boutique firm in the UAE, where he advised on cross-border M&A and international (private equity) transactions on behalf of a diverse international clientele (including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, private equity investors and UHNWIs).
Education:
Yves holds a Masters of Law from the Catholic University of Leuven (1998) and an LLM in Banking and Finance from King`s College London (1999).
Additional experience:
Yves also held a teaching assignment at the Paris Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi.
