Pierstone advised Index Ventures leading Series C investment into Rohlik.cz

In June 2021, Pierstone advised Index Ventures who led Series C investment round into Rohlik.cz, Europe’s latest unicorn.

Rohlik, founded by Tomáš Čupr seven years ago, is a start-up originating in the Czech Republic operating in the grocery ordering and delivery business. In this latest investment round, Rohlik received €100 million, valuing Rohlik at €1 billion. Shortly before, Rohlik raised $230 million in a B Round, and these investments will fund Rohlik´s European expansion.

Pierstone acted as a transaction counsel for Index Ventures for both the B and C Rounds and the Pierstone team was led by partner Iva Zothova, with support from Klara Kocarova, Ferdinand Fort, Tomas Schollaert, and Radek Czichon.
