Giulia Mauri


Giulia has more than 15 years’ experience in advising national and international clients on all aspects of aviation and transport related transactions, including asset-finance and leasing, regulatory issues, carrier’s liability and litigation matters.

She is the Chairman of the Aviation Lawyers Committee of the European Business Aviation Association and an active member of the Industry Affairs Group of the European Regions Arline Association. She is a member of the Management Committee of the Rail Working Group on the Rail Protocol of the Cape Town Convention, as well as their Brussels Representative.

She has been recommended by Legal 500 since 2008 and she is currenly listed as a leading individual in Aviation.

Giulia is admitted to practice in Italy and Belgium and she regularly works for Italian clients on Belgian driven transactions as well as for foreign investors willing to invest in Italy.

Giulia holds an LLM in international and European law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and a Diplôme d’Etudes Universitaires Français from the University Jean Moulin, Lyon III. She graduated in law at Turin University.

She speaks English, French and Italian and has a working knowledge of Dutch.

Giulia publishes regularly on selected aviation and transport related topics and she is often invited as a speaker at major sector specific seminars and events.
